Planet Comic , Homage

Reimagine the classic covers from the Planet Comics 51 (Vol 1. 1940 - 1953).
The classic PLANET COMICS #51 cover (1947 Joe Doolin) reimagined. The original piece was already great so my approach was to make it more of a fight! I wanted to make the heroine less of a helpless damsel in distress and more empowered in control of the battle. - (Me)

ROLE REVERSALS
Planet Comics captured the imaginations of readers with bright, bold colors as well as breakthrough storytelling. Occasionally the story formula would be reversed and it was heroines handily defeating the bad guys with little or no assistance from male counterparts, pushing a pro-equality agenda during an era that history records as the time when women were suppressed in society.
